Post Consumer Brands: Empowering Women Leaders in Business

Post Consumer Brands women leaders at the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce Women in Business Conference

At Post Consumer Brands, our approach to empowering women in leadership is rooted in our history and aligned with our future goals. Inspired by Marjorie Merriweather Post, one of America’s first notable female CEOs, we are dedicated to creating a workplace where equality is paramount, and all voices matter.

Women in Manufacturing Partnership

Our commitment extends to partnerships with organizations such as Women in Manufacturing (WiM). Through this alliance, newly established in 2023, we offer our employees opportunities for professional development, mentoring, and networking. These initiatives are not just about individual growth; they play a critical role in enriching our company culture.

Women in Business Program

Engagement with the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce’s Women in Business program is another way we support women’s leadership. PCB’s own Jill Bollettieri, SVP and general counsel; Amy Cernava, manufacturing plant director in Northfield, Minn.; and Roxanne Davis vice president of manufacturing, recently participated in a panel, providing valuable insights on advancing women in the manufacturing sector.

Women’s Development Network

Each year, our Women’s Development Network recognizes employees who significantly contribute to PCB’s progress—from our corporate office to our manufacturing plants across North America. This program is a testament to the outstanding work and leadership our employees demonstrate and aims to foster a supportive environment for women’s professional growth.

Empowering Women in 2024 and Beyond

Looking ahead to 2024, our focus on supporting women at every business level remains a top priority. We draw inspiration from Marjorie Post, whose legacy of leadership continues to influence our strategies. Every employee is instrumental in driving progress and fostering positive change within our organization.

Our aim is to build a workplace where women’s leadership is not just a goal but a standard practice. We understand the value of diverse leadership in bringing different perspectives, enhancing decision-making, and promoting creativity.

We are committed to continuing our support for women, recognizing that this not only benefits individuals but strengthens our entire organization. These efforts contribute to a stronger community and set a path for future leaders.
