Where Did Puffins Cereal Get Its Name?
In 1995, we concocted a sweetened cereal made of puffy corn and oat pillows. When looking for a name for this cereal like no other, we searched high and low — and then a longtime employee suggested the name Puffins in honor of the adorable little sea birds that she fell in love with on a recent trip. Ever since, Puffins has remained a family-favorite cereal!
