Post Consumer Brands extends employee “Thank You” bonus program through June

The special cash bonus program is for all full-time and temporary employees at its 11 U.S. and Canadian plants and distribution centers.

LAKEVILLE, Minn. (May 15, 2020) — Post Consumer Brands announced today that it is committing an additional $1 million to its previously announced $2 million special cash bonus program for all full-time and temporary employees at its 11 U.S. and Canadian plants and distribution centers. Under the program, the company will pay out monthly bonuses totaling $1 million each month to eligible employees in April, May and June.

The bonus program was established to thank plant and distribution center employees for their round-the-clock work during the coronavirus pandemic.

“I’m extremely grateful to all of our plant and distribution center team members who have stepped up in such a big way to make sure families have the products they love during this extraordinary time,” said Howard Friedman, Post Consumer Brands president and CEO. ”Extending our employee bonus program is just one way we can show them our immense appreciation.”

Each eligible full-time plant and DC employee will receive $300 each month, and each eligible temporary employee will receive $150. Post Consumer Brands will continue to evaluate the special bonus program on a monthly basis moving forward.

Post Consumer Brands has taken many steps to ensure the safety and wellbeing of employees since this situation began, including purchasing face masks for all employees, increasing cleaning frequencies, staggering shifts, and implementing social distancing. Most recently the company began rolling out wellness and temperature checks at several of its production sites.
