125+ years of making breakfast cereal history through building a legacy for a better tomorrow

At Post, we have a long history of supporting hunger relief efforts, and it’s a tradition we’re proud to continue. Last year, we donated more than 20 million bowls of cereal to help alleviate hunger. This year, in honor of our 125th anniversary, we’re committing another $250,000 to help feed hungry families in our local communities.

We remain driven by one idea: to make better happen. Because feeding families is what we do.

A legacy of feeding families

For more than a century, Post and Malt-O-Meal have been bringing new cereal brands to breakfast tables across America. Post Consumer Brands exists today thanks to two innovators, C.W. Post and John Campbell, who never met, but who had one thing in common: a vision that made history in the breakfast cereal industry.

Their hunger for invention and a shared vision, followed for decades, eventually led to the creation of our combined company – Post Consumer Brands, the third-largest cereal company in America.
