Cold Spinach Dip with Grape-Nuts

Whether you're making an appetizer for an upcoming get-together or a delicious snack for one, this cold homemade spinach dip recipe made with Grape-Nuts® cereal, cream cheese, and a few other kitchen staples is easy to make – no baking or heating required. Pair this crowdpleasing dip with your favorite vegetable, crackers or pita chips!

Cold Spinach Dip with Grape-Nuts

Total Time: 15 minutes

Ingredients 

  • 1 8 ounce package reduced-fat block-style cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup plain non-fat Greek yogurt
  • 1 10 ounce package frozen chopped spinach thawed and squeezed dry
  • 1 garlic clove pressed
  • 3 tablespoons snipped fresh dill
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried marjoram
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground white pepper
  • ½ cup Grape-Nuts cereal
  • 2 slices turkey bacon cooked crisp and crumbled
  • Carrot sticks, celery sticks and red bell pepper strips to serve

Directions

  • In a large bowl, combine softened cream cheese, yogurt, spinach, garlic, dill, oregano, basil, marjoram, salt and pepper. (At this point, the mixture can be refrigerated until ready to serve.)
  • When ready to serve, fold in Grape-Nuts cereal. Transfer to serving bowl and top with crisped and crumbled turkey bacon and additional Grape-Nuts cereal. Serve with carrot sticks, celery sticks and slices of red pepper for dipping.
