Barbara's Jalapeno Cheese Puff Chicken Poppers


Crush, mix, shape and throw 'em in the oven. These jalapeno cheese chicken poppers are surprisingly easy to make and they're liable to be gobbled up quickly.

Barbara's Jalapeno Cheese Puff Chicken Poppers with dipping sauce


  • 1 bag Barbara’s Jalapeno Cheese Puffs crushed
  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • ½ teaspoon Kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar divided
  • Ranch dressing for serving


  1. Crush cheese puffs in food processor or blender.
  2. In a medium sized bowl combined ground chicken, ¼ cup crushed cheese puffs, salt, pepper and ½ cup shredded cheddar until well combined.
  3. Shape mixture in 1 Tbs sized balls and place on a greased or lined baking sheet.
  4. Heat oven to 350°. Bake for 15 minutes.
  5. Remove from oven and top with other ½ cup shredded cheddar and bake another 3-5 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
