Post Consumer Brands team members share a passion for helping young professionals kickstart their careers! We are proud to offer our Operations Leadership Development Program (OLDP) – a program geared towards graduating college seniors and graduate students interested in pursuing a multi-year supply chain and operations leadership rotational program.

Participants in the program complete four rotational assignments lasting six months each at two of our manufacturing locations across the US and/or our corporate office in Lakeville, MN. Throughout the program, participants have the opportunity to grow their leadership skills by working across multiple areas, including, Research and Development, Continuous Improvement, Operations Supervision, Engineering, Quality and Food Safety, Supply Chain and Maintenance Reliability, all while supporting our manufacturing operations.

After completion of the program, participants are placed in a full-time Supply Chain or Operations Leadership role at one of our manufacturing plant locations or the corporate office. Keep reading to hear directly from three Post Consumer Brands employees who started their careers at PCB in the OLDP.

Abbey, Continuous Improvement Manager at our Lakeville, Minn. corporate headquarters.

“The OLDP challenged me to get to know more people, while growing as a professional. With every new position I transitioned into, I connected the previous roles I held with the new programs, experiences, and processes to truly understand how everything connects and interacts within our organization.

I chose to be part of the OLDP program because of the unique experience it gives someone coming out of college. I felt like the program gave me the opportunity to see where I could fit into at Post and develop my professional goals while still getting to know the organization.”

Nyssa, Senior Materials Manager, Northfield, Minn.

“The different rotations allowed me to gain experience and perspective within different areas of the business. This perspective has constructively influenced my decision making in subsequent roles.

The mentorship from senior leaders provided me with guidance and career path advice. The visibility that I gained through program participation helped provide opportunities to further my career.”

Maddy, Engineer, at our Lakeville, Minn. corporate headquarters.

“Being a part of the OLDP is a great opportunity to explore the different positions Post has to offer. I would highly recommend the program for anyone looking to gain leadership experience early on in their career and work in different manufacturing environments.  It has helped me develop both leadership and technical goals while working on projects specific to my interests.”

Note: The OLDP does require relocation throughout the program (relocation assistance is provided) and offers the opportunity to fast track your leadership career to a plant or Supply Chain leadership role after program graduation. Each associate will also be mentored by an assigned Supply Chain and Operations Executive throughout the course of their rotational experience, adding a unique learning and development approach to ensure your success and support you in your long-term career objectives at PCB!
