Post Consumer Brands™ team members share a passion for helping young professionals kickstart their careers! We are proud to offer our Operations Leadership Development Program (OLDP) – a program geared towards graduating college seniors and graduate students interested in pursuing a multi-year supply chain and operations leadership rotational program.
Participants in the program complete four rotational assignments lasting six months each at two of our manufacturing or distribution center locations across the US and/or our corporate office in Lakeville, Minnesota.
Throughout the program, participants have the opportunity to grow their leadership skills by working across multiple areas, including, Research and Development, Continuous Improvement, Operations Supervision, Engineering, Quality and Food Safety, Supply Chain and Maintenance Reliability, all while supporting our manufacturing operations.

After completion of the program, participants are placed in a full-time supply chain or operations leadership role at one of our manufacturing plant or distribution center locations or the corporate office. Keep reading to hear directly from three Post Consumer Brands employees who started their careers at Post in the OLDP.
Abbey, Senior Supply Chain Manager, Lakeville, Minnesota
“The OLDP challenged me to get to know more people, while growing as a professional. With every new position I transitioned into, I connected the previous roles I held with the new programs, experiences, and processes to truly understand how everything connects and interacts within our organization.
I chose to be part of the OLDP program because of the unique experience it gives someone coming out of college. I felt like the program gave me the opportunity to see where I could fit into at Post and develop my professional goals while still getting to know the organization.”
Nyssa, Senior Operations Manager, Northfield, Minnesota
“The different rotations allowed me to gain experience and perspective within different areas of the business. This perspective has constructively influenced my decision making in subsequent roles.
The mentorship from senior leaders provided me with guidance and career path advice. The visibility that I gained through program participation helped provide opportunities to further my career.”
Natalie, Senior Commercial Demand Planning Analyst, Lakeville, Minnesota
“The best part of the OLDP is the connections you create and experiences you gain while working at various locations across the company. After the program, having those connections and leadership capabilities becomes so incredibly helpful in whatever role you take on next.
Additionally, Post Consumer Brands leadership invests a lot of their time and effort into the OLDP, which helps accelerate your career growth. I wasn’t sure if I wanted to go the technical route or the supply chain route coming out of college, and I was able to experience both through the program and discover what I love to do in an accelerated format.”
Kate, Operations Supervisor, Tremonton, Utah
“The Operations Leadership Development Program was a great starting point for my career after graduating from college. The OLDP placed me into positions that I may not have otherwise chosen for myself, which both challenged me to grow as a professional and broadened my knowledge of the business. I was able to take the perspective I had learned from each rotation and apply it to new roles and opportunities. Lastly, one of the best things I have gained from the OLDP is unique connections built across the Post Consumer Brands network.”
Sarah, Production Planner, Meadville, Pa.
“The OLDP was an incredible start to a career at Post. It helped me to develop a well-rounded understanding of Post Operations and connections throughout the network. Relocating shortly after graduation was a bold move that taught many life skills and formed strong friendships. I felt so supported throughout the entire experience. I would suggest this program to anyone curious about an exploratory career route and open to constant learning!”
Note: The OLDP does require relocation throughout the program (relocation assistance is provided) and offers the opportunity to fast track your leadership career to a plant or Supply Chain leadership role after program graduation. Each associate will also be mentored by an assigned Supply Chain and Operations Executive throughout the course of their rotational experience, adding a unique learning and development approach to ensure your success and support you in your long-term career objectives at Post Consumer Brands!
