Post in the Community: Doing Right Where We Live

At Post Consumer Brands™, we Do Right by our local communities and Bring Joy through community involvement efforts. This includes volunteering, product donations, and monetary sponsorships for that support hunger relief, community and people empowerment, education and the environment.

From cereal sales to disaster relief, pet food donations, community events, and more, teams across our corporate and plant locations stepped up in fall 2026 to make a difference in the communities where we live and work.

Blaine Plant

Team members from our nut butter plant in Blaine, Wash., joined community members at the Borderite Block Party in August for an afternoon of fun, food and community celebration.

With back-to-school on the mind, volunteers handed out 475 Post tote bags to attendees with water bottles, a jar of cherry almond butter and a mechanical pencil with a lead refill. Any remaining jars of almond butter were donated to the Blaine Food Bank.

Battle Creek Plant

In August, our Battle Creek team partnered with WK Kellogg Co., for a cereal sale benefiting United Way of South Central Michigan and South Michigan Food Bank. The event welcomed nearly 500 shoppers and raised more than $13,000 to help support local programs addressing food insecurity and other critical community needs.

“Our Battle Creek team is always energized by opportunities that allow us to give back to Cereal City, especially when it means helping make delicious food accessible for families in our community,” said Todd Person, Site Vice President for Battle Creek. “We’re grateful to our employees and volunteers who help make this event possible and to the community members who continue to show up in support of such important local organizations.”

Both companies donated 5,000 boxes of cereals to sell at $2 a box, with no purchase limit. This was the fourth time the sale was held, and it has now raised more than $55,000 for the community.

Lakeville Office

The Rachael Ray® Nutrish™ brand team, in partnership with The Rachael Ray Foundation™, donated 60 bags of dog food to a pair of animal shelters to commemorate Dog is My CoPilot’s 50,000th flight in August.

Dog Is My CoPilot is a nonprofit animal rescue organization that uses small aircraft flown by volunteers to fly dogs and other animals from overcrowded shelters to areas with demand for adoptable dogs. The 50,000th flight took place on August 13 from Norman Animal Welfare in Norman, Okla., to Street Dog Hero in Bend, Ore., and the Rachael Ray® Nutrish team made donations to each shelter.

Additionally, after a tornado ravaged the Fox Valley area in Wisconsin in late July, our pet sales team members assisted in loading and delivering more than 3,000 lbs. of 9Lives™ cat food donated by Post Consumer Brands to the Fox Valley Humane Association to support disaster relief. The donation was so generous that the Fox Valley Humane Association was able to share some of it to other partners in the area.

Northfield Plants & DC

The Northfield team sponsored the annual Defeat of Jesse James Days in early September, a long-standing local tradition that brings residents together to celebrate community pride and history. Members of Post Consumer Brands also participated in the grand parade, sharing in the celebration alongside community members and passing out bowls of cereal to parade goers.

Eugene Career Fair

The Eugene Plant held an onsite job fair in September to help recruit for open positions in production, maintenance and more and spread awareness that Post Consumer Brands is now a part of the Eugene community.

Jonesboro Plant

In Jonesboro, team members participated in the United Way of Northeast Arkansas’ Day of Caring in September. The team volunteered at Ridgecrest Rehabilitation Center in Jonesboro, Ark., helping prepare a special Dolly Parton-themed “9 to 5” celebration for residents.

Post volunteers transformed a common area by creating colorful butterfly decorations, blowing up balloons, making bows and setting up a photo backdrop to make the event memorable and fun for everyone. They even won the United Way’s best t-shirt design!

In total, the Day of Caring event brought together 600 volunteers across 63 projects serving 40 organizations in a single day. It was a good reminder of what can be accomplished when people come together to serve their community.

Tremonton Plant

Volunteers from the Tremonton Plant once again partnered with the United Way of Northern Utah for its annual cereal sale in late September. Bags and boxes of Post and Malt-o-Meal™ cereal were donated and available for just $1.50, and every purchase was donated to United Way to expand its work in the Northern Utah community.

Thank you to everyone who is volunteering time and energy in their communities and making a difference! These efforts reflect Post’s dedication to being a positive force in the communities where we operate and beyond. Learn more about how our team members give back to their communities.
