Pecan Pie Bars


  • 1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup Malt-O-Meal® Maple & Brown Sugar Hot Wheat Cereal, dry
  • ¾ cup butter or margarine
  • 1 can (14 oz.) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup almond brickle chips
  • 1 cup chopped pecans


Heat oven to 350°F. In medium mixing bowl, combine flour, cereal and sugar; cut in margarine until mixture resembles coarse cornmeal. Press firmly into ungreased 13X9-inch baking pan. Bake at 350°F. for 15 minutes. Meanwhile, beat sweetened condensed milk, egg and vanilla. Stir in chips and pecans. Spread evenly over prepared crust. Bake at 350°F. for 25 minutes or until golden brown. Cool before cutting. Yield: 36 bars.
