Grape-Nuts® Pre-Workout Energy Shot Recipe
If you've been on the hunt for a tasty pre-workout shot option, you've hit the jackpot! This one-of-a-kind pre-workout shot is made with Grape-Nuts® cereal, fresh strawberries, walnuts, and more for a satisfying taste and crunch. Follow the recipe below and enjoy!
Ingredients
- ⅓ cup strawberries coarsely chopped
- 2 tablespoons orange juice
- 4 teaspoons Grape-Nuts® cereal
- 4 teaspoons finely chopped walnuts
- 1 container (4 ounces) low-fat orange yogurt
Garnish
- twist of orange
Instructions
- Soak chopped strawberries in orange juice for 30 minutes. Drain off excess juice.
- In a small bowl, combine Grape-Nuts cereal and finely chopped walnuts.
- In a tall shot glasses, layer 2 teaspoons of the strawberries, 2 teaspoons orange yogurt and 2 teaspoons of the Grape-Nuts cereal mixture. Repeat with 2 more teaspoons of strawberries, 2 teaspoons of orange yogurt and finish off with a sprinkling of the cereal mixture. Garnish with a twist of orange.
