Grape-Nuts Dark Chocolate Dried Fruit Dippers
- 1/3 cup Grape Nuts Cereal
- 2 Tablespoons chopped crystallized ginger
- 1 cup dark chocolate chips
- 36 slices dried fruit (such as apricots, apple slices, pear slices, or pineapple rings)
Place Grape-Nuts cereal in a food processor and process a few pulses to coarsely grind. Add chopped crystallized ginger and pulse 2 – 3 times more. Place in a bowl and set aside.
In a microwave safe bowl, melt chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stopping to stir after each interval.
Dip each piece of dried fruit halfway into the melted chocolate. Immediately sprinkle with cereal-ginger combination. Place on prepared sheet and chill in refrigerator until set.
Makes 3 dozen dried fruit desserts.
