When you can't decide between chocolate and vanilla - have both! This double decker pie packs all the flavor, and sits atop a sweet and crunchy Grape-Nuts cereal crust.

Grape Nuts double decker pie recipe

Ingredients 

  • 1 cup Grape-Nuts® cereal
  • ¼ cup frozen apple juice concentrate thawed
  • 2 cups cold fat-free milk divided
  • 1 package (4 serving size) chocolate fat-free sugar-free instant pudding
  • 1 tub (8 ounces) whipped topping thawed, divided
  • 1 package (4-serving size) vanilla flavor fat-free sugar-free instant reduced calorie pudding and pie filling

Instructions

  1. Place cereal in food processor container; cover. Process until finely crushed. Mix with juice concentrate until well blended. Press onto bottom and up side of 9-inch pie plate. Bake at 350°F for 5 minutes or until light golden brown. Cool on wire rack. POUR 1 cup of the milk into medium bowl. Add chocolate flavor pudding mix. Beat with wire whisk 1 minute. (Mixture will be thick.) Gently stir in ½ of the whipped topping. Spoon into crust.
  2. Pour remaining 1 cup milk into another medium bowl. Add vanilla flavor pudding mix. Beat with wire whisk 1 minute. (Mixture will be thick.) Gently stir in remaining whipped topping. Spread over pudding layer in crust.
  3. Refrigerate 4 hours or until set. Store leftover pie in refrigerator.
