Cinnamon Toasters cookies recipe

Ingredients 

  • 1 cup butter room temperature
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ¾ teaspoon salt
  • 1 ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 cups Malt-O-Meal® Cinnamon Toasters® cereal crushed

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Line baking sheet with parchment, set aside.
  3. In bowl of stand mixer, beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy, about 2 minutes.
  4. In bowl of stand mixer, beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy, about 2 minutes.
  5. Turn mixer to low and mix in flour until just combined.
  6. Finally add in crushed Malt-O-Meal® Cinnamon Toasters® cereal, mixing until evenly incorporated.
  7. Scoop large mounds of dough onto baking sheet, about 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake for 8-9 minutes until edges begin to golden.
  9. Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. If desired melt 1/2 cup of white chocolate in microwave in a zip-top bag and drizzle over cookies.
  10. Enjoy the cookies!
