Directions
Preheat oven to 350°F.
In a large bowl, mix apples, ¼ cup of the sugar, lemon juice, instant tapioca and cinnamon in large bowl. Let stand 10 minutes.
In a medium bowl, combine
Original Shredded Wheat Spoon Size cereal
, remaining ¼ cup sugar and margarine. Stir until well blended.
In an ungreased 1 ½-quart baking dish, spread apple mixture. Sprinkle evenly with cereal topping.
Bake at 350°F for 45 minutes or until topping is browned and apples are tender when pierced with fork.
