Grape-Nuts Dark Chocolate Dried Fruit Dippers

  • cup Grape-Nuts® cereal
  • 2 tablespoons crystallized ginger chopped
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 36 slices dried fruit (such as apricots, apple slices, pear slices, or pineapple rings)


  • Place Grape-Nuts® cereal in a food processor and process a few pulses to coarsely grind. Add chopped crystallized ginger and pulse 2 – 3 times more. Place in a bowl and set aside.
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stopping to stir after each interval.
  • Dip each piece of dried fruit halfway into the melted chocolate. Immediately sprinkle with cereal-ginger combination. Place on prepared sheet and chill in refrigerator until set.
  • Makes 3 dozen dried fruit desserts.
