Directions
Preheat oven to 350°F. Combine flour and 2 tablespoons sugar in large bowl. Cut in butter with pastry blender or 2 forks until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in cereal; set aside.
Combine ½ cup sugar, the water and tapioca in large saucepan. Bring to full boil on medium heat, stirring constantly. Add cherries; cook 2 minutes, stirring occasionally. Pour into 8- or 9-inch square baking dish. Sprinkle with the cereal mixture.
Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until fruit mixture is hot and bubbly. Let stand 10 minutes before serving. Cover and store any leftover dessert in refrigerator.
