Malt-O-Meal® Cereal launching MOM Cereal Crew™ program
On February 8, the Post Consumer Brands’ Malt-O-Meal team is launching a new ambassador program called the “MOM Cereal Crew,” allowing cereal fans to share their love for cereal on social media in exchange for coupons and discounted products. Targeted to consumers who are parents, the program aims to provide Malt-O-Meal fans with a way to authentically interact with the brand.
“Malt-O-Meal cereal has long been mom’s ally and an easy mealtime solution for everyone in the family,” said Mary Zahn, Marketing Communications Intern or incoming Marketing Communications Specialist for Post Consumer Brands.
“We’re excited to build the MOM Cereal Crew community to reach moms who like great tasting cereal and seek better value.”
How it works:
Fans of Malt-O-Meal cereal are encouraged to apply to be an ambassador. If accepted, MOM Cereal Crew members will receive coupons for free and discounted Malt-O-Meal products to keep their pantries stocked. Ambassadors will be added to a private Facebook group and asked to post monthly about their families experience enjoying Malt-O-Meal cereal.
Additionally, each month the brand will select five MOM Cereal Crew ambassadors to be featured as “MOM of the Month.” Selection will be based on the quality and quantity of their social posts. The Malt-O-Meal social channels will feature winners’ content and they will also receive gift packages, including exclusive Malt-O-Meal apparel, cereal swag, gift cards, and more.
